We're excited about progress for a new playspace at Bond Mill and hope to break ground on the new Playground in 2009!  The Playspace Committee is working with Learning Structures Community Build Playgrounds".  If you would like to know more about the company, you can visit the website, http://www.learning-structures.com

We hope that parents, students, teachers, and everyone will join us in supporting the planning and building efforts so that in the near future we can enjoy a safer, more fun recreational and educational space for our kids and community!  Currently, we're looking for some additionall volunteers to help with public relations and/or fundraising.  Families can also sponsor a landscaping brick for $ 50.00.  If interested, please contact the committee chairs at playground@bondmillpto.org or by calling Dawn Bell - 301-725-3407 or Stephanie Brown at 301-266-7949.

Keep up to date by visiting Playground Headquarters to see the proposed designs, etc.

Basically, the NFL is encouraging schools and businesses across the country [...]
  • Lowe’s Helps School Get Prestigious Green Building Certification
So refreshing to see that the trend of schools going green is picking up momentum. Recently we learned of a school that took “green” to a whole new level. The Learning Gate Community School in Lutz, Florida, walks the talk when it comes to all things green. Their curriculum is green, they have a “green [...]
