GREETINGS PARENTS

I want to introduce myself as Bond Mill Elementary’s School-Based Parent Liaison. This position was created by the Prince George’s County School Board to provide services to facilitate improved parent involvement, communication, and collaboration between the school staff and families in order to enhance the students’ academic achievement and social development.

I hope to:

work with you to improve understanding of school policies, procedures, and educational requirements
facilitate effective and frequent communication between school and home regarding the needs and concerns of families and schools
make available a data base of public governmental agencies and private organizations that are providing relevant social services
empower you to navigate and interface appropriate governmental agencies, community organizations, and school personnel to address the educational, health, economic, and social needs of your children
