We are very happy for e everyone’s generosity when it comes to fundraising. We still remain a school with great families and parents that give very generously but we realize that it is difficult for families to give in times like these.  There are ways to give back to the school without giving money.

Playground Renovation Brick and Picket Fundraiser

The new playground will have a sitting area with 450 paver bricks that families can purchase to help fund the project.  Also, pickets for fencing throughout the playground can be sponsored.  Both bricks and pickets can be personalized.  Bricks cost $100 and pickets cost $50. Brick/picket sponsorship forms can be download from the website and completed rand eturned with a check made to the Bond Mill PTO.  Mail or return forms and checks to Bond Mill Elementary School.

Contact the Playground co-chairs for more information.  Dawn Bell or Stephanie Brown  at playground@bondmillpto.org.

Recycling - Paper / Cell Phones / Toner Cartridges

Recycling is also a big way that we can raise money for the PTO.  All you have to do is bring your paper recycling and put it in the dumpster.  If the dumpster is full let the office know.  You can also bring in your old cell phones and toner cartridges and place them in the box behind the showcases for pickup.

Box Tops / Target /Land’s End

If you order things on the web you can order them through the Box Tops portal and the school will receive credit.  There are many other places that you can give the school credit such as Target, Land’s End, etc.  These are small things but every bit helps.

PTOs and PTAs build school community in many important ways. And research shows that this alone can help students and teachers succeed. But do you do anything that directly impacts student achievement? There are lots of ways to do it. You might organize a monthlong reading challenge, create a series of math enrichment programs, or set [...]
  • Video Blog: Cracking the Middle School Involvement Nut
